Hey friends, it’s Memon Mondays! A bit late this time as I am traveling. I will keep this one short. Did you really think I will break the streak?!
Memon Mondays is my new experiment. A weekly email for my friends with things I found or learned that week about programming, memes, tech, Pakistan, and games. It’s very silly, but I will continue doing it!
Fart Attack — Prank your friends (soon to be ex-friends) when they leave their computer unlocked by making every link and button fart on click and hover.

Have you heard of the Bloomberg Terminal? Basically, it’s still the place a lot of traders, analysts, and executives prefer to do their work. And because so many of the movers and shakers are already there, if you want to be the next big thing in finance, you want to be there, too. You’re not going to win the Super Bowl if you aren’t even playing in the right stadium. It’s a billion-dollar software which has complete monopoly of that particular industry.
It’s a case study on how good software + specialized domain is a killer combination which most of us developers just avoid as it seems boring work.

Check out State of JS 2019. It’s the annual JavaScript survey to know what’s the new cool and what’s dying.
Speaking of JS Frameworks, have you tried Svelte? It’s the hot new minimal framework for building user interfaces. Whereas traditional frameworks like React and Vue do the bulk of their work in the browser, Svelte shifts that work into a compile step that happens when you build your app.
If you want to try Svelte, there are many ways to do it. You can also use Zero (my framework :D, will speak more about this later) to quickly get started with Svelte.

And that’s all for this week. Were the links any useful? You can share your feedback in the comments. Also inbox me if you got something cool to share please!
